Tina’s Background

Mrs. Ortkiese specializes in environmental noise modeling, monitoring and mitigation. She has extensive experience modeling transportation, industrial, and community noise. Her experience also includes room acoustics, electro-acoustic transducer design, and acoustic chamber qualification.

Mrs. Ortkiese holds a Master’s degree from Georgia Tech in Mechanical Engineering, with research in reverberation and anechoic chambers, along with a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University. Prior to joining Arpeggio in 2008, Tina designed speakers for Bose Corporation. She is a member of the Acoustical Society of America and the Institute of Noise Control Engineering. Tina is based in Columbia, SC.
